School Induction Programme

The school I got for the school induction program was Mar Augen Memorial School, Chengamanadu. Shani and I were the B.Ed. trainees who were assigned to this school. The school induction program was for one week which started from 16th September to 20th September 2019. The Headmaster of the school was Deenamma G. The teacher in charge of our subject was Mintu miss. The library was given to us. Each day starts with an assembly. The midday meal was there for the students who need it.  On the 16th and 17th, we observe the classes of Mintu miss in the 8th and 9th classes and visited the principal to learn about the school's history. On the 18th,19th, and 20th we took the class. I took the class for the 9th class and Shani took 8th standard. I took the chapter 'Circles'. Onam Celebration

The onam festival was celebrated in the college on 6th September 2019. Onam is the official state festival of Kerala. Athapookalam completition was conducted on the year wise batch. B.Ed first years, B.Ed. Second years and M.Ed. students made their own athapookalam. After the completion of athapookalam, teachers and college management members evaluated the pookalam. Then group song competition was conducted and four teams participated. Then thiruvathira competition was conducted in which three teams participated. And a group dance competition was conducted in which two teams participated. After the competition, sadya was given to all students, teachers and non-teaching staffs. After the sadya, many onam games was conducted. Musical chair, Sundarikupotuthodal, tug of war, etc was conducted. All the students, teachers and non-teaching staffs participated in the games. The day was so memorable  for everyone.

Teachers Day Celebration

The Teachers day was celebrated in the college on 5th September 2016. The formal meeting has started with a prayer song by second years students. All the teachers were welcomed to the function with a rose from students. After the welcome speech by Rev. Mathew Baby, the presidential address was given by Roy sir, principal of our college. After the presidential address, Roy sir and Zacharia ramban greeted the chief guest George sir with ponaadda. Followed by the greetings, Zacharia ramban gave his speech. Then the chief guest George sir along with teachers of the college light the lamp. A wonderful and inspiring message given by George sir. After the chief guest speech, all the teacher gave their speech. After the speeches, two teachers who recently awarded doctorate were awarded a momentum from the students. Independence Day Celebration

Independence day was celebrated in the college on 15th August 2019. The celebration started with the flag hosting ceremony. Roy sir, principal of the college hosted the flag in the presence of the students and colleagues.  After the ceremony, the meeting started with a patriotic song by first year B.Ed. students of social science. Roy sir gave a message on the Independence day celebration.    After the message, first year B.Ed. students of mathematics did a silent skit on ‘ Unity in Diversity’ . After the meeting, students of the B.Ed social science conducted a essay writing competition on the topic “ Involvement of Indian National Association during Indian Independence ” and a quiz competition based on the Indian Independence. I myself had participated in the essay competition.
