Mathematics association inauguration and pi day celebration

As part of pi day, the Mathematics department had planned to celebrate the day. Since March 14 was Sunday, the program was preponed to 12th March 2021. For the planning, all students of the mathematics department got together to plan the celebration on 10th March. All students exchanged their ideas and selected the new association secretary and association treasurer. First-year mathematics department students took on the responsibilities for each program.  The official function for Mathematics association inauguration and pi day celebration was inaugurated by Riju sir by lightning the lamp. Dr. Leena Vahid, mathematics department head, gave the presidential address. Followed by that all teachers gave their speech. As part of passing the responsibility, I passed a lighting lamp to the new association secretary Sreelekshmi. Women's day celebration

  Our college had celebrated the women's day celebration on March 8. The programme was named "Phoenix". The programme was started with a flashmob by the first year B.Ed students. Students decorated the seminar hall with many charts featuring women day celebration. The official function was inaugurated by Aisha Potti, MLA of Kottarakara. After the inaugural section, B.Ed. trainees conducted many cultural programmes. The prize for the winners of the online quiz competition winners was distributed It was a  wonderful experience celebrating women day.

Peer teaching-Offline

  As part of two years B.Ed. curriculum, we had a teaching practice section in the fourth semester. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, we were unable to do the teaching practice. So in order to solve this, we conducted 15 peer teaching among these, 10 were online, and 5 were offline.  In our college, peer teaching classes started on 22 Feb 2021. For that, we were divided into 10 groups, each having 5 members. My group members were Jeena Kunjumon, Kripa,  Neethu Babu, and Nancy. 5 classes were taken in offline mode. These classes started on 2 March 2021 to 4 March 2021.  I took my 5 classes on the chapter 'Construction of quatrilaterals'.All members supported each other throughout the session.
