Art Education Workshop

As part of B.Ed. curriculum, we conducted an art education workshop to prepare teaching-learning materials on 3 October 2019. Based on the subject of art and aesthetic education, each of us produced five materials. I made flowers with tissue paper, a flower with organdy cloth, bottle craft, a mat, and a teddy bear in a basket. Students from our class itself acted as a resource person for each item. Christy taught bottle craft, where Kripa taught flower making using tissue and organdy cloth. Ahalya taught to make a mat with saree. Jenna taught the class to make dolls with plastic bottles and cotton. The art education class allowed us to experiment to make mistakes and to learn from them and to experience on enriching environment tailored to our personality and interests as teacher trainees. We all felt comfortable enough to create meaningful artwork.
