For the celebration of UN Day, the Social Science Department of the college hosted an online quiz competition on 24th-25th October 2020 via a google form. I myself contributed my time to the success of the competition by helping in creating a quiz form and certificate. 200 Students from more than 60 colleges participated in the competition. About 100 students got a certificate for passing the quiz. The program was a huge success.  

Our college conducted a Gandhi Jayanthi celebration on 2nd October 2020 through google meet. The program started with the prayer by Jyothis. Hima welcomed everyone to the program. Chairman Fr. Jobin gave his presidential address. The chief guest of the function was M. Gopalakrishnan, commerce teacher in Govt.H.S.S, Sadhanathapuram. Then Principal Roy sir gave his speech. Then Arya shared his thoughts on Gandhijayathi. After the formal function, competitions were conducted on optional subject wise. The competitions were poem recitation, elocution, quiz, and documentary presentation. Watch and win competitions were also there. Students from different subjects participated in different competitions. Devanand and I participated in the Documentary presentation, where he presented the documentary and I gave audio for the visuals. We got third in that competition. It was a great experience for all students and teachers.

 Kerala University College of Teacher Education, Adoor organized an intercollegiate online youth festival 'NAVRANG 2020' from 14th September to 27 September 2020. There were about 40 BEd college across Kerala participated in 27 different competitions. About 18 students participated in different programs. I participated in a digital poster making competition. The theme for my competition was 'Dawn to Dusk'. I got third prize in that competition. Akhil, Jebin, and Devanand also got prizes in different competitions. It was a wonderful experience for all the participants. For each day there were different guests for the competitions and the audience got a chance to interact with the guest. It was a proud experience to be in part of history by participating in the first online youth festival in Kerala. 

 The Onam celebration 2020 was celebrated on 28 August 2020 through google meet due to the corona pandemic. Union members made a pokalaom in the college front yard. The online program started at 10.30am. Leena miss welcomed everyone to the online Onam celebration. The principal Roy sir gave his speech and Onam wishes to all students. Followed by the speech, Hari sir gave his wishes to all students. Gireesh Kumar sir sang a beautiful Onam song for us. Then the program 'Talk with Maveli' was there. My friend Jebin dressed up as Maveli and interacted with students. Followed by that program, Devanandhini, daughter of Deepu sir, sang a beautiful Onam song for all. After the song, all house representatives gave their wishes to everyone in the meet. After the formal sessions, various competitions were conducted. Independence day was celebrated by the college via google meet on 15th August 2020. The function was started by principal Roy sir hosting the Indian flag on the college flag pole. Followed by the flag hosting, Roy sir gave his speech to the students. The guest of the day was Binu K Sam, teacher of St. Marys High school Pathanamthitta. The guest delivered his speech to all students. After the formal functions, competitions were conducted on optional subject wise. The competitions were Patriotic song, Elocution, Fancy Dress Competitions, Essay Writing, Poster Making, and Quiz. The quiz was conducted by the Social science department. All students participated in different programs as best as they can. The first online independence day celebration was a varied experience for all students.

The official college youtube channel inauguration ceremony was conducted on 5 august 2020. The function was started by prayer. Principal Roy sir gave his speech to all students. The channel was launched by Parvathy R.M., College topper of 2018-20 batch. The different online art program was conducted. Mimicry performance, Instrumental music, and dance performance were there. An online workshop on 'Stress M anagement'  was conducted on July 18,2020, on the behalf of  department  of psychology. The resource person invited for taking the class was Nisha T Mohammed. She is a lecturer in Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Pathanamthitta. Through the workshop, she discussed about the concepts of stress and its causes and effects on the people. She taught many strategies for students  to overcome stress in ones life . The whole class was so energetic  that kept all students very attentive. It was a wonderful experience for all students to learn about stress and learn some methods to overcome it.
